Large town garden in St Albans conservation area

A garden of several levels built around a basement room. Old reclaimed bricks were used along with a vintage style sandstone slab and setts. The clients wanted a larger area for relaxed seating with a huge fire pit, a patio next to the kitchen above the basement room and various paths and sitting areas around the garden. They wanted English country style of planting full of roses, wisteria, geraniums etc
