Town garden in Wheathampstead

This garden is part of a listed property in Wheathampstead and had been neglected with a swimming pool no longer used and in a bad state of repair. Large conifer trees took all the light out of the house and needed to be removed. The client wanted the pool filled in and a patio area and a pond replacing it.

Further towards the house another unused area was repaved and a pergola added for interest. This area is now filled with light and is used for relaxed seating on sunny days.
